Forward Motion

Filmed across Southend in the winter wasn’t as much of a challenge as we presumed. Blessed with some bright (but nevertheless chilly) days and the varied backdrops of the borough we bought the story to life with a cheeky approach, flipping traditional, petrol-headed stereotypes (4x4 driving Yummy Mummies, Taxi Drivers, Boy Racers) into urbane, erudite spokespeople for sustainable travel.

The script has a light-hearted and comedic approach that gave the actors room to go to to town (“Akshally, I think you’ll find it’s pronounced ‘Keenwah‘) and have some real fun.

We also wrote, conceptualised and directed these films for Forward Motion promoting different aspects of sustainable travel.
