There’s few things better in life than sitting around a beautiful pool, sipping a cocktail and watching the sun slowly drift across the sky.

The premise behind LIDO is to bring an ultimate touch of luxury to an outdoor pool surrounded by palms, day beds and cabanas. With only 200 spaces available every day it’s strictly first come first served.

We wanted the logo to have a familiar yet edgy feel. From above the logo looks like it should be tiled on the bottom of an infinity pool. We paired the brutalist letterform with some super refined and elegant typography to create a logo to be reckoned with.

The Red ‘O’ in LIDO symbolises a rubber ring and with it’s cursive nature juxtaposes the hard edges of the L, I and D. (Which in our mind resemble diving boards and pool edges.)
