Osborne’s
A Leigh-on-Sea institution, Osborne’s have been fishing the Thames Estuary for over 100 years and no one that visits Old Leigh isn’t aware of the business.
We’ve been working with Osborne’s for around five years working on all their brand output, from evolving the logo from the original to film.

As well as the cockle trawlering side of the business they also operate a café and a high-end fishmongers and to compliment their day-to-day business bringing in some of the finish fish from the best suppliers across the UK.
They had an existing brand which had been tweaked and modified over many years so there was no consistency on any part of the visual identity. However, they didn't want to come too far away from the original styling. So, we re-drew and re-organised the brand output to set a standardised visual identity. Taking cues from the original design we standardised all elements and also added a few flourishes to give it a real polish. Font choices and colour-ways were produced to expand the brand to all printed and physical collateral - beanie hats anyone?
The visual aspect of what Osborne's do is vital. Stunning landscapes and estuary vistas by Matt Crew have helped sell the business.
In the summer of 2018 with Andy Delaney we created a stunning brand film - Osborne’s: On Land & Sea that showcases the day-to-day workings of all sides of the business. The video garnered over 20,000 hits in one week making it a huge success.
